At lease end, here's what typically happens:

**The inspection:** the dealer inspects the car for excess wear, mileage overages, and damage. They document any charges.

**Your bill:** you receive an invoice for any overage fees, excess wear-and-tear, and disposition/return fees. Your base lease payments are done.

**The return:** you drop off the car at the dealership; no need to sell it or negotiate resale value.

**What's next:** you can lease or buy another vehicle, or walk away-it's entirely up to you.

**Before return day:** wash the car, fix small issues if possible, gather maintenance records, and review the lease terms so you know what charges to expect.

Castle Chevrolet McHenry handles lease returns smoothly and can answer any questions about end-of-lease costs before they surprise you. We're also here if you'd like to lease or buy your next car. Call **(779) 600-2956** as your lease term winds down-we'll make the transition easy.
