# Extended Service Coverage

Extended service plans (or extended warranties) give you predictable repair costs and peace of mind beyond the factory warranty.

## How They Work

New Chevrolets come with a **factory warranty** (typically 3 years/36,000 miles basic coverage). An **extended service plan** picks up after that expires, covering repairs for a set time period or mileage limit. You pay upfront or roll the cost into your monthly payment, then most repairs are covered with little or no out-of-pocket cost.

## What's Covered

Plans vary-some cover powertrain (engine, transmission, drivetrain), others include electrical, air conditioning, and more. Routine maintenance (oil changes, tire rotation) isn't usually included, but major repairs are. Our finance and service teams explain exactly what each plan covers.

## Is It Right for You?

If you plan to keep your vehicle beyond the factory warranty and want predictable costs, extended coverage is attractive. If you trade in or sell early, unused coverage may have residual value.
